MANDURAH - AN ACCESSIBLE HOLIDAY DESTINATION
The City of Mandurah is dedicated to providing an accessible and inclusive environment for everyone and the team at VisitMandurah have compiled a list of the best accessible-friendly activites whilst you visit Mandurah.
- The Bike Kiosk Mandurah, is located adjacent to the Mandurah Visitor Centre, and offers a range of bikes and scooters, including an electric wheelchair. With friendly and knowledgable staff, The Bike Kiosk team, can assist with providing a detailed description on each bike, e-bike or e-scooter.
- A great way to see Mandurah from the waterways, is by Mandurah Boat Charters. Mandurah Boat Charters offers a scenic and relaxing experience for all, with ramped access along the jetty as well as, ramp access from the jetty to the boat.
- Award Winning Mandurah Cruises, allows you to take a relaxing journey through the Mandurah canals. For wheelchair access, simply call ahead, and the team at Mandurah Cruises will cater to your needs.
- The first of its kind in WA, is the all-abilities paddle launch, located in Riverside Gardens. Featuring two custom slipways and special seating to facilitate safe access, paddles of all abilities can now enjoy the paddle trails of the Peel-Harvey Estuary.
Everyone, regardless of ability, deserves to enjoy Mandurah's most popular beaches. To enhance accessibility, the City of Mandurah has installed beach matting at select locations (available between September to May, subject to weather and storm conditions) and offers free hire of beach wheelchairs, walkers and a Hippocampe beach wheelchair.
